The AtlasIED SM42T-B Strategy Series 4″ surface mount speaker is designed to deliver high-fidelity sound, durable construction, and installation flexibility for commercial, professional, and residential audio systems. Featuring a 4″ polypropylene woofer, 1″ ferrofluid-cooled dome tweeter, and integrated 70.7V/100V transformer, this speaker provides reliable performance for both indoor and outdoor installations.

Engineered for distributed audio and background music systems, the SM42T-B offers full-range sound reproduction in compact surface-mount form. Its weather-resistant construction allows it to be installed in both indoor and outdoor environments such as restaurants, cafés, retail stores, corporate AV spaces, patios, and houses of worship.

The speaker includes a screwdriver-adjustable 16-Watt 70.7V/100V transformer with multiple power taps and an 8Ω bypass for direct-coupled low-impedance amplifier operation. The TRX WAVEGUIDE™ constant directivity high-frequency system helps provide consistent sound coverage and improved clarity across the listening area.

Installation is simple and flexible using the included heavy-duty C-shaped mounting bracket, which allows multi-position mounting on walls or other structures. Integrated ¼”-20 threaded inserts provide compatibility with a variety of third-party mounting and security hardware.

Additional protection is provided by the Atlas Sound POLYGUARD™ high-frequency protection circuit, helping protect the speaker from overload conditions while ensuring long-term reliability.
