The AtlasIED FAP42TCEN is a 4-inch shallow mount coaxial in-ceiling speaker designed for distributed commercial audio and voice evacuation systems requiring EN54-24 certification. Engineered for installations where high-quality sound, wide coverage, and limited ceiling depth are critical, the FAP42TCEN provides reliable performance for emergency communication and background audio systems.
With a 130° dispersion pattern, the speaker effectively covers large areas, allowing fewer loudspeakers to be used in distributed audio systems with low ceiling heights. This wide coverage helps maintain consistent sound levels while improving system efficiency and installation costs.

High-Performance Coaxial Driver Design
The speaker features a 4″ coaxial polypropylene cone driver with a 1″ voice coil and butyl rubber surround, providing excellent durability and consistent audio performance.
A 19 mm PEI coaxially mounted tweeter ensures extended high-frequency response and improved speech intelligibility, making the speaker suitable for both music playback and voice announcement systems.
Flexible Installation and System Integration
The FAP42TCEN is factory assembled in a deep-drawn enclosure with a low-saturation 70.7V / 100V transformer designed to minimize insertion loss while maintaining strong low-frequency response.
A front-mounted tap selector switch allows installers to adjust transformer taps without removing the speaker from the ceiling. The switch also includes a transformer bypass setting for 8-ohm operation, providing flexibility for both distributed and low-impedance audio systems.
The speaker includes the AtlasIED C-Ring and V-Rail mounting system, enabling fast installation in drop tile ceilings and drywall construction.
