he AtlasIED FAP62TEN EN54-24 certified 6″ coaxial in-ceiling speaker is designed for voice evacuation, emergency notification, and commercial distributed audio systems. Engineered to meet EN54-24 and ISO 7240-24 standards, this speaker is suitable for installations requiring certified loudspeakers for life safety and fire alarm communication systems.

Featuring a 110° wide dispersion pattern, the FAP62TEN provides efficient coverage for low ceiling distributed audio installations, reducing the number of loudspeakers required to achieve consistent sound coverage.

The speaker incorporates a high-quality 6″ coaxial driver based on the proven performance of the AtlasIED FA136 loudspeaker platform. The driver includes a polypropylene cone with butyl rubber surround and a 1″ voice coil, paired with a 19mm PEI coaxially mounted tweeter to deliver balanced audio performance and excellent speech intelligibility.

A high sensitivity rating of 88 dB average (92 dB peak) allows the speaker to produce the desired sound pressure levels while requiring less amplifier power. The loudspeaker is factory assembled into an optimally tuned and ported deep-drawn enclosure, enhancing low-frequency response while maintaining efficient acoustic performance.

The integrated 32-Watt 70.7V / 100V transformer features multiple power taps and includes an 8Ω bypass setting for direct-coupled operation. A front-mounted tap selector switch allows installers to quickly configure power settings without removing the speaker from the ceiling.

Installation is simplified using the C-ring and V-rail tile bridge with Strategy Series dog-leg mounting system, allowing fast installation in drop tile or drywall ceilings. The speaker also includes a 4-pole detachable Phoenix-style connector for convenient pre-wiring and daisy-chaining to additional speakers or subwoofers.
