The Lowell ES-4T 4″ dual cone in-ceiling speaker provides clear speech intelligibility and balanced music reproduction for commercial distributed audio systems. Designed for paging, background music, and general signaling applications, this compact ceiling speaker includes a full-range 4″ driver, integrated multi-tap transformer, ported steel back-can enclosure, grille, and mounting hardware for a complete installation solution.

The dual cone loudspeaker features a high-frequency whizzer cone that improves clarity and articulation, delivering crisp high-frequency response typically associated with coaxial speakers. Wide sound dispersion helps provide consistent coverage and can reduce the number of speakers required in distributed audio systems.

The speaker includes a 16-Watt multi-tap transformer with selectable taps for 25V, 70V, and 100V distributed audio systems, along with an 8Ω transformer bypass option for low-impedance installations. Tap selection is conveniently accessible behind the grille.

The painted steel ported enclosure (back-can) is tuned to enhance low-frequency response while providing proper acoustic loading for the driver. The enclosure includes mounting dogs for secure installation in ceiling surfaces.

Installation is simplified with included support rails, C-ring mounting ring, template, and paint guard, allowing quick installation in suspended ceiling systems. A removable four-pin Phoenix-style connector allows easy wiring with pass-through connections for additional speakers in the system.

With its compact size, wide coverage, and integrated backbox design, the Lowell ES-4T is an ideal solution for schools, offices, retail spaces, restaurants, healthcare facilities, and commercial paging systems.
